A Long Time Coming

For as long as I remember, I’ve been so excited to have my first son. My plan has always been to teach him baseball, guitar, prepare him for a mission and name him George.

It’s tradition in my family to have the oldest son with the middle name George. Kay George, Dale George, Brian George and now Cole George.

Last night we had both Grandpa Georges up for dinner. My dad suggested we take a photo. We probably could have found better lighting and background in the studio but we were just glad to have Grandpa Kay to play along.

So here is the photo. I look chubby, Dad looks happy, Grandpa looks proud and Cole just looks surprised by it all.

    yeah, that pregnancy weight is harder for the guys to lose than the girls i think.

    Shaun, the crazy thing is I weigh less right now then I have in two years. I’m going to blame it on the way I was sitting. Yeah, that sounds good.

    its good to see grandpa, uncle dale, and my 2 cousins in a picture next to each other brings back memories :D

    This was really fun to have the four Georges take this picture. Poor Grandpa Kay was done with the first picture but since I am not a photographer I had to make sure we had a few choices. I got a bad angle but the memory and meaning are so worth it.

    Grandpa looks really happy in that picture. I like it! I sure love all those “George Stuckis”. Cole fits right in!
