Baby Carrots Are The Devil
February 21, 2006 ·

Whenever one tries to “start eating healthy”, the first purchase is almost always a big bag of baby carrots. Do not make this mistake. Baby carrots prey upon the human instinct for shortcuts. A much much better option is to buy full size carrots, skin them, and cut them into carrot spears. Full size carrots are much better tasting than those little baby carrots.
Plus, don’t you think it is odd that all the baby carrots are perfectly sized and shaped? These have been manufactured. That’s not natural.
Consider this a public service announcement.

I agree. If you try a baby carrot and right after, try a REAL carrot, its an amazing difference. You can taste the chemicals on the baby carrots.
I’m scared.
excuse me. i’m a big fan of baby carrots, and they are not chemically altered whatsoever. they are merely cut down and shaped from carrots that had visual imperfections and couldn’t make it to the pile of large carrots in your grocery store.
in fact this saves and conserves food that would have otherwise gone wasted.
I do believe Baby carrots are chemically altered, not only because of the size and the taste of them, but also coz they have conservatives so they can stay perfect forever!
baby carrots ARE the devil
Chemically altered? Are you kidding me?
Baby carrots are great because they are basically all the “ugly” carrots that people don’t want to buy, thrown into an industrial potato peeler. They are fine as a snack.
Baby carrots are soaked in Chlorine then rinsed to preserve them. Check it out on Snopes:
