FYI i.e. not e.i.

And Brian don't worry fatherhood will come very naturaly for yourself. I remember feeling a lot of self doubting the two months before Derek was born. That is just the adversary putting trash in the mind, you will be fantastic. Also I wanted to let you know I truly do miss you (said with the max amount of masculinity possible). I had so much fun the time we hung out everyday. I can't wait to move home in a year so we can do stuff together, if that is OK with you. Our kids can be buds and do stuff together. Don't worry my kids will be good examples and teach him really cool stuff. You will be great and your kids will like anything you put in their face. Derek's room was Peter Pan and he would watch it 24/7 if he could. He also still enjoys to fall asleep to the Peter Pan snow globe I bought him. Good choice on CG my kids watch it almost every morning on PBS. Ciao!!!

I think he will like monkeys. I am hoping he is a little carbon copy of his parents and looks like a monkey boy. (But I will still love him if he surprises us all with blond hair.)

This one will hit you hard:
When you first drive home with Slim, you will get mad at all the fast drivers. If you thought you were a conservative driver before, (which you are) it will be multipled tenfold!!

It's a true miracle...especially when you hear that first cry. And FYI it doesn't diminish with the number or for that matter with the generations (ie grandkids.)

My workout came the first year of our children, not before. Our oldest boys(twins) got into the habit of falling asleep only while being rocked/bounced laying face up in my forearm, head cradled in my hand. That was my workout routine.
Your post has made me want to re-energize my excitement about fatherhood. Unfortunately, I sometimes forget the miraculous, awe-inspiring, wonderful nature of this privilege.

Good luck with everything.
