It's a win-win. The latter sells cheap stuff; the former sell high-quality stuff at great prices, donate to charitable causes, and pay their employees a better wage to boot. Now I have to decide if Costco's $150 rebate on the $800 espresso machine I dream about means I won't "regret paying more for quality"...
